Game development 13: asset creation

This week i worked primarily on the creation of sprites for the game after asking Leon to do however due to some unforeseen problems he was unable to complete these but was able to complete the bone sprite. i created the hedge and characters sprite using a free site called Piskel which specialises in sprite creation and allows export of gifs and png's.
The upcoming week i plan to add in a background asset and some interface buttons this will most likely be done in photoshop before being exported and imported into unreal. once in unreal the button assets will be added to the widget blueprints and the background to a plane and placed behind the scene.
So far the game project has been going according to plan and sometimes has been ahead of schedule due to easier than expected tasks or more time committed than planned to get ahead. and the number of ongoing tasks within the hacknplan has constantly been kept to a minimum meaning tasks are all being completed when neccesary.
